WHAT IS ORGANIC ALOE VERA GEL?

Aloe vera, also known as Barbados Aloe or Curacao Aloe, is a succulent plant in the Aloe genus with thick, fleshy, serrated leaves. The inner leaf holds a clear gel that is more than 96% water, which is cold-pressed and extracted to preserve its properties. The result is a transparent, odourless gel with a light, non-greasy texture.

Our organic aloe vera gel combines organic Aloe Barbadensis gel and extract with xanthan gum and approximately 20% naturally derived ethanol. The ethanol comes from sugar cane and acts as a natural preservative. This makes the gel a lightweight base for a wide range of skincare and hair care formulations.
