Sandalwood Essential Oil

This is real sandalwood in all its soft, tenacious glory! Those looking to be immediately hit with strong creaminess are likely used to highly dilute or synthetic sandalwood fragrances. This is very subtle when it first goes on the skin or clothing, however it evolves and grows over time like true sandalwood should. And it's so tenacious on fabric, I added some to a bath and I could smell it coming off my towel afterwards for days every time I passed my washing basket! It has that initial slight sharpness that sandalwood has on first applying, and over the next 36 hours it softens and pushes outwards, lending a creaminess that projects the perfect distance so that I get compliments from anyone hugging me or standing close by, but it doesn't assault the senses of people just trying to share a room with me. I imagine if people wanted more projection then mixing it with perfumer's alcohol would have the desired effect, but personally I'm over the moon with it as is, and can't believe the price for the quality!

I didn't know what to expect. Mysore sandalwood from India has been a big disappointment for more than 10 years. This Santal Album brings back all the memories of decades ago. It's absolutely wonderful and I'm so happy now that I can use it anytime I want knowing I can always get a new supply from a reliable source.

I bought this oil today. It seems nice and clear, although it seems a bit watered down and not very strong. True pure sandalwood essential oil is an excellent oil to have in your collection. However it's one of the most expensive essential oils you can buy and it can also be the most common oil that is 'watered' down. Even when you spend up wards of $80 for 15ml, when you get the product home and test for purity, you can find that what you've gotten isn't a pur essential oil. Not the case with N-Essentiels! I use it in the oil mixture I use on my hair and am absolutely wrapped in how wonderful, soft and shiny my hair has become since I've started using the mixture, completely made of ingredients from N-Essentials. I also use sandalwood in the intense moisturising balm for me feet, no more cracked heels. It is a must have ingredient for my DIY green deodorant, along with helping to keep my underarms smooth and well moisturised, the beautiful woody/earthy scent of sandalwood is an excellent addition to deodorants for both men and women. It's also a very calming and grounding oil to use in aromatherapy, goes great with chamomile and a scent you'd be happy to have filling your home. I've been so happy with the high quality and wonderful aroma of N-Essentials sandalwood, along with the fact that the 15ml has lasted me nearly a year, (and I'm not out of it, just getting low & I don't want to be with out it) that I was willing to invest the money in getting a 30ml bottle, knowing that I'd be getting the highest quality of pure TRUE sandalwood essential oil available anywhere! I know that when I buy ANY product from N-Essentials I am getting the best product and no longer have to shop around to know it's at the best price I can find anywhere. I really can't say enough to explain how thrilled I am with this sandalwood. You just have to buy and experience the benefits for your self. This sandalwood oil is beautiful. I have been mixing with Argan oil and using on my thick curly dry hair. Amazing moisturising benefits and smells exotic. Have had a few people comment on the the perfume. Would recommend. Ordering more. Well worth the price.
