COMMON USES & APPLICATIONS

For skin

  • Face oil and moisturiser: Use 1 to 2 drops as a lightweight facial oil, or blend into creams and lotions. Its 0 comedogenic rating suits oily and combination skin as well as dry skin.
  • Fine lines: Works into serums and night oils to soften the look of fine lines and improve the appearance of skin texture.
  • Nail and cuticle oil: Massage into nails and cuticles, on its own or blended with a lighter oil.

For hair

  • Leave-in and pre-wash treatment: Warm a few drops and work through mid-lengths and ends before shampooing, or smooth a small amount through dry ends.
  • Frizz and shine: Tames flyaways and adds shine to smoother-looking, more manageable hair.
  • DIY detangler: Combine with aloe vera gel and lavender essential oil for a lightweight detangling blend.

For DIY and formulating

  • Carrier oil for essential oils: Dilutes essential oils for massage and roll-on blends.
  • Base oil for balms and serums: Adds slip and a light skin feel to balms, serums and after-sun oils.
  • Soap making: Used as part of the oil phase for a conditioning bar.

HOW TO USE MOROCCAN ARGAN OIL

  • Facial care: Warm 1 to 2 drops between clean fingers and press into the face at night, after water-based products.
  • Hair treatment: Massage a few warmed drops into the scalp and ends before shampooing, or use a drop or two on damp ends to style.
  • Blending: Use as the carrier in essential oil blends, or combine with heavier butters and oils to lighten the overall texture.

Argan oil can be used on its own or as part of a wider formulation. A little goes a long way, so start small and build up.

CARE & CAUTIONS

  • Perform a patch test before first use to check for sensitivity.
  • For external use only, not for internal use.
  • Store airtight in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, as cold storage and airtight packaging slow oxidation and preserve the oil.
