• Facial Cleanser — Mix 2 tablespoons of clay powder with 1 tablespoon of rosehip oil in a glass jar until you achieve a smooth creamy texture. For added benefits, stir in 3–5 drops of essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood or bergamot and mix thoroughly.

• Face Mask — Whisk a teaspoon of water, 1/4 teaspoon of raw honey and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Gradually blend in 3/4 teaspoon of white clay and 1/4 teaspoon of bentonite clay to form a creamy paste. Apply and discard any unused portions. 

• Hair Mask — Mix 120 g of Kaolin clay, 250 ml of rosewater or aloe vera juice, and 2–3 drops of a nourishing oil of your choice. Stir slowly until you achieve a smooth, well-mixed mask. Discard any unused portions.

• Exfoliator — Combine 2 tablespoons of white clay, 1 tablespoon of finely ground oats, 1 teaspoon of ground flaxseed and 1 teaspoon each of dried calendula and lavender buds. Add 2–3 tablespoons of rosewater and mix into a smooth paste. Discard after one application.

• Detoxifier — Mix one tablespoon of white clay powder with one teaspoon of activated charcoal in a bowl. Slowly add water, stirring until a smooth paste forms. Include a few drops of essential oil for a gentle scent. Discard after one application.

• Face and Body Soap — Stir one cup of clay powder with six drops of lavender essential oil in a glass bowl. Gradually mix in 1/4 cup of witch hazel extract. Shape into soap blocks and let air dry at room temperature for three to four days.

• Natural Shampoo — Combine 2 tablespoons of clay powder, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (a preservative), 1 teaspoon of castor oil and 3–5 drops of your favourite essential oil. Mix thoroughly until a smooth and silky paste forms.

• Lotion — Melt 1/4 cup shea butter and two tablespoons coconut oil in a double boiler. Then mix in one tablespoon of clay powder, aloe vera gel and essential oil if desired.

• Deodorant — Create a smooth paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of arrowroot powder, 1 tablespoon of white clay and 3–5 drops of essential oil.

CAUTION:

• Although Kaolin clay has a gentle texture, it has high mineral content, which can irritate the skin if it is used more than once a week.
• Avoid inhaling Kaolin clay in its raw form.
• Avoid storing or mixing the powder in a metal container and/or with a metal fork. We recommend that you use glass, enamel, ceramic or wooden containers instead.
