This essential oil blend is great for a room that just needs a bit of freshening up. It's also perfect for those who are looking for a more natural option, as it uses only essential oils, water, and an emulsifier.
Essential oils are liquids that have been extracted from plants. The oils are very concentrated and have a strong aroma. They have been used for centuries in various cultures for their aromatic properties. Essential oils are now gaining popularity in the western world as people become more interested in natural products.
We offer a wide variety of essential oils. Each with its own unique benefits. Some of the most popular essential oils include lavender, peppermint, lemon and eucalyptus.
INGREDIENTS:
- 240ml distilled water (can get at the supermarket in the cleaning/laundry aisle)
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drops lemongrass essential oil
- 1 teaspoon polysorbate 20
- 1 dispenser bottle with nozzle spray
You can mix different oils if you prefer depending on your personal preference. Keep in mind that some oils go together better than others. For example, Ylang Ylang would smell amazing with lemongrass, and lemongrass would work wonders with lavender and other herby flowers.
Mix the distilled water with the lavender and lemongrass essential oils to create the base of a pleasant room deodorant spray that will mask a variety of smells. Add the polysorbate 20 to the mix to bind the water and oils together. Pour the combined solution into a dispenser bottle and shake well. Allow the formulation to settle for a while before spraying the room with this soothing mix of essential oils.
To use, simply spray into the air as needed.
