INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:

Mix the distilled water and polysorbate 20 in a spray bottle with the cedarwood essential oil and tea tree oil. Shake well. The cat litter problem will be no longer.

DIRECTIONS:

Spray the areas where you notice the smell the most. The essential oils will help to neutralise the odour and the polysorbate 20 will act as a dispersant, helping the essential oils to spread more evenly. For best results, spray onto surfaces that are most likely to hold odours, such as carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture.

Spray sparingly into the air as needed. For serious odour problems, spray liberally onto surfaces as well as into the air.

NOTES:

You can also add other essential oils to create a custom fragrance. Some good options include Lavender, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Orange, Bergamot or Grapefruit. Just remember to always use an emulsifier like Polysorbate 20 when using essential oils in a spray bottle. This helps to prevent clogs in the spray bottle and allows the oil to move easier out of the bottle and into the air.

Add 10-20 drops of your chosen essential oil to a 30grams spray bottle. Fill the rest of the way with water and shake well. Spray into the air as needed. You can also use this same method to make linen sprays, all-purpose cleaners and more. Shake well and spray into the air as needed.

Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.

So if you're looking for a natural way to freshen up your home, try our Room Deodoriser Spray recipe. It's sure to make your space smell amazing!
