Herbal Bath Salt

Published by N-essentials Team on 21st Dec 2022

This recipe is great to pamper yourself with for a magnificent day spa experience. Combined with essential oils, this provides soothing properties to the skin and well-being.

Create a luxurious bath for yourself or a loved one. It includes three different types of salt, each with its own benefits. Epsom salt is no pain to use. Its effect on the skin is amazing. Sea salt helps detoxify the skin by exfoliating the cells on the surface.

Adding a few drops of essential oil to your bath salt mix can further enhance the aroma throughout the bath, and even after. You will feel like a walking garden. They provide a beautiful scent and offer many benefits for the skin. With this mix, you’ll have exfoliation from the salt and hydration from the oil infusion. Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts that retain the natural aroma and flavour of the plant they are derived from. They are commonly used in aromatherapy and can be added to bath salts to provide a variety of benefits.

Raw or unrefined oil is simply oil that has not been processed or refined in any way. It is made by cold-pressing the seeds or fruits of certain plants (depending on the plant) and retains all of the nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants present in the original plant. Preparing a lavish spa experience doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Bath salts are a great way to relax and rejuvenate your skin. Epsom salt is no pain to use.

Bath salts Australia

To make the bath salt mix, simply mix together 1 cup of Epsom salt, 1 cup of sodium bicarbonate, and half a cup of citric acid with your choice of essential oils. I like to add 10 drops of lavender oil and 1 tablespoon of dried lavender for a lovely bath. Store the bath salt in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid for freshness, and to reduce clumping. Add a ribbon across the jar and tie it in a bow for a wonderful, low waste, gift option.

On our website, you can find a full list of ingredients for this spray. Delivered across Australia.
