Let N-essentials’ satin-textured base cream bring nourishment to your skin. The natural ingredients of Almond oil are perfect for sensitive skin and being fragrance-free is also suitable for people with heightened sensitivity to smell. You can generously apply this paraben-free and sulphate-free cream as a moisturiser to your face, hands, feet and body, particularly to very dry areas of skin.

You also have the option of enhancing the cream base with your desired combination of unique essential oilsand fragrances to give the final product an added aromatic dimension, along with added carrier oils for more hydration.

INGREDIENTS OF THE CREAM BASE

The N-essentials’ cream base consists of:

• Aqua (Purified)
• Sweet Almond Oil
• Grapeseed Oil
• Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Ceteareth-20
• Vegetable Glycerine
• Glyceryl Stearate
• Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin

As a result, the N-essentials’ unscented base cream has a base pH Value between 4.5 and 7.0.

WHY USE A UNSCENTED CREAM BASE?

The major benefit of using N-essentials’ out-of-the-box fragrance-free cream base is that you don’t have to start from scratch to attain your all-natural cream. Starting with this base product, you still understand the exact composition of natural ingredients included, without the complexity of having to commence from ground zero. CHOICE INGREDIENTS TO ADD TO THE CREAM BASE 

The different types  of ingredients that you may wish to consider adding to your product base are Carrier oils, Essential oils, Extracts, Fragrance oils and Cosmetic butters.

USE CARRIER OILS TO ENHANCE YOUR CREAM BASE

Carrier oils serve the function of diluting the essential oils so that it can be applied to your skin. They can also be used as is or be added to a product base such as in this case, into a cream base for added moisturising properties. Examples of carrier oils from the N-essentials’ range:

• Apricot kernel – This is a light oil that is absorbed easily by the skin, and incidentally popular for facials as well!
• Tamanu oil - This oil has a thicker consistency compared to a light oil which can help even out and hide skin blemishes.
• Coconut oil (fractionated) - Fractionated coconut oil is more easily absorbed by the skin and considered less “greasy” compared to virgin coconut oil. A fractionated light oil such as this one that is absorbed easily by the skin, is sometimes referred to as “non-greasy” oils.
