WHAT IS YLANG YLANG ESSENTIAL OIL?

Ylang ylang essential oil is sourced from the star-shaped flowers of Cananga Odorata, a plant native to countries surrounding the Indian Ocean like Philippines and Indonesia. This plant is famously referred to as the perfume tree.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil has a distinctive floral aroma that makes it a wonderful ingredient in cosmetic and toiletry formulations. It is clear in colour with a hint of yellow and a medium consistency. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is fresh and floral in its aroma, slightly fruity, and medium to strong in its intensity. Used in cosmetic applications, dilute one drop of ylang ylang essential oil for every teaspoon of carrier oil to minimise skin sensitivities. Essential oils, in general, are not advised to be applied full strength to the skin.

YLANG YLANG OIL FOR HAIR

This beneficent oil is loaded with organic components that are able to naturally nourish the hair and scalp. For hair conditioning, massage the diluted essential oil into the scalp down to the end of hair strands and leave it to soak for 20 minutes before washing out with mild shampoo.     This essential oil has been amazing to blend with. Last ages and you don't need to use a lot. Can't wait to put it in a soap. I think it is one of the strongest i have smelt. Such a great product. Thanks n essential for having pure clean products that work well on the skin too.

    Love the aroma of this oil and have used it on its own or blended with geranium and rose water for a divine body spray. Great value.

    I am a big fun of ylang ylang scent. But this one smelled very different to what I normally get. It is not a good or bad. Just didn’t smell like ylang ylang for me. I guess so many kids of ylang ylang ..
