BEST USES COCOA THERAPY FRAGRANCE OIL IN SOAP AND CANDLE MAKING

Fancy a delicious blend of cocoa and marshmallows?

This phthalate-free cocoa therapy fragrance oil is famous for its rich, inviting, and irresistible aroma that has been used in numerous applications including scent diffusers, soap making, candle making, and many others. The aroma in this fragrance oil will make you want to run down to your local gourmet cafe and order a cup of chilled cocoa. It carries a sweet and strong fragrance that is more cocoa than chocolatey and a slight whiff of marshmallows.

Add a rich and captivating aroma to your homemade skincare/cosmetic and household products by using cocoa therapy fragrance oil. The list of products includes soaps, lotions, creams, body washes, bath bombs, candles, fabric softeners, laundry detergents, and fabric cleaners.

In perfumery, cocoa therapy fragrance oil acts as a base note that appears once the top notes have dissipated. It is the scent that lingers on your cloth or skin for hours. For best results, we recommend blending this with sweet notes such as honey, vanilla, and/or caramel.

Suggested dosage:

If you are planning to add this fragrance oil in body spray products such as body mists, we recommend using up to 8.75% only. Face makeup and eye makeup products of all types should only have a maximum of 2.5% dosage. In making colognes and perfumes, we suggest using up to 30%. Skincare products such as creams, facial washes, and lotions of all types should only contain 1% or 1.5% of such fragrance oil.

When adding cocoa therapy fragrance oil to bodycare products including body washes, bath gels and foams, use only 11.8%. In soapmaking, the recommended dosage is 0.5% to 1%. If planning to use in reed diffusers, you can use up to 20%. For candles, we recommend using 8% to 12%.

Above all these applications, the use of cocoa therapy fragrance oil is not suitable for use in any lip products.

This fragrance oil contains synthetic ingredients that might cause discolouration to the end-product especially in soaps. It usually goes from pale creamy colour to a dark brown colour. Be advised that discolouration is a natural process that happens over time as the soap is curing and exposed to open air. Best to get the most out of the natural discolouration of a fragrance oil by embracing the process to give you the best result.

To avoid complications, we suggest that small test batches are to be made first before producing larger quantities.

Note that we cannot disclose the ingredients used in any of our fragrance oils as they are the IP of the manufacturers.

CAUTION: Cocoa therapy fragrance oil should be used for external purposes only.
