Meet Jacinta Meyers

Jacinta Meyers is the Director and Principal Scientist of Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service (F.A.C.T.S™), a laboratory and small-scale manufacturing facility located in Tyabb, Victoria. F.A.C.T.S™ helps individuals, brands, and manufacturers by performing laboratory testing to ensure quality products can be developed and manufactured with confidence. F.A.C.T.S offers customised technical solutions including formulation correction, regulatory compliance checks, stability testing, and microbiological analysis. Each project is tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring they find out all the facts about their formulations.

Jacinta’s qualifications provide a strong academic foundation for her testing and consulting services. A Diploma of Personal Care Formulation, Bachelor of Science (Genetics & Microbiology), and Graduate Diploma in Safety Science bring a multidisciplinary, risk-based approach to the development of safe, stable, compliant, and effective products. She provides support from initial concept right through to market readiness. With over 20 years working in the pharmaceutical development and manufacturing sector, she also has the knowledge and experience to provide expert GMP technical support.

Jacinta is inspired by nature’s healing powers and proven traditional methods to make herbal products such as extracts and infusions. She creates and uses them as raw materials in many of her formulations to give them unique characteristics and functionality. She also enjoys distilling her own essential oils and hydrosols. Ongoing research of peer-reviewed, evidence-based scientific literature deepens her understanding of topics relevant to her work. As a Benefactor Member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists, she regularly attends conferences and industry presentations to learn about emerging ingredients and technologies. Jacinta enjoys sharing her knowledge by educating clients about test results and facilitating hands-on workshops.
