Home Made Moisturizer Day and Night

When was the last time you looked at your skincare routine and the products that you are using in it?

Many store-bought beauty products contain many different ingredients that can actually be more harmful to the skin than good. Looking at the ingredients list there are probably even ingredients on there that you can’t pronounce – that in itself should be a warning sign!

Learn about what goes on your skin. We may be tempted by the good looking and professional packaging of a lot of beauty products but it would be wiser to choose a product that is suitable for our skin type.

Nowadays, most people use a wide variety of skincare products as they think it’s best to keep their skin moisturized. But the question is, are they really getting the benefits they need?

Treat your skin with a natural moisturizer! Moisturizers have moisturizing qualities that are effective in adding moisture to dry skin and help keep it from drying out. At N-essentials, we make sure that we provide you with tips and recipes on how to make homemade natural moisturizers.

Making homemade moisturizer products to use in your skincare routine means that you know exactly what is going into your products, you can buy your supplies from reputable businesses and you can make enough of them using natural and eco-friendly products that are safe for your skin.

What should be a part of my homemade skincare routine?

The way that you start and finish your day when it comes to your skincare routine is very important.

As a part of your day-to-day skincare routine, it is essential to use moisturizers in providing your skin the moisture it needs and potentially prevent dry skin. This can be done both in the morning or evening.

After moisturizing, applying a toner helps to close pores, making your skin look brighter and healthier.

Can I use the same homemade moisturizer in the morning and the night?

You can definitely use the same homemade moisturizer in the morning and at night, or you can make two different homemade moisturizers that can be used at different times of the day.

For example, a daytime moisturizer that contains sun protection can greatly protect your skin, particularly your face, from harmful UV rays. Also, a nighttime moisturizer that is thick and heavy is essential in keeping your skin hydrated.

Moreover, moisturizers that contain essential oils such as peppermint can be a bit troublesome at night as peppermint has properties that can help in keeping you active and alert – not the thing you want just before bed. This is the opposite with Lavender which helps you sleep – not the best thing to apply at the start of the day.

Check out some simple and easy recipes to make your natural homemade moisturizers and toners successful in giving your skin the care it deserves!
